How It Works?

ASea freight, also known as ocean freight, is one of the longest established forms of transporting goods internationally. It’s also one of the most economical. While air freight is favoured for time-sensitive shipments, sea freight is still the first choice for many businesses and individuals looking for a cost-effective solution.

Sea freight services were revolutionized by the introduction of containerization after the Second World War—loading ships with standardized containers allowed a greater volume of cargo per vessel and removed the need for warehousing. Today, the majority of sea cargo is transported in either TEU (twenty foot equivalent unit) or FEU (forty foot equivalent unit) containers.

All Axis Transportation Service (AATS) helps the customer supply more than 24,000 different parts to more than 40 different markets from a hub configured to meet the customer’s global standards. The facility is integrated into the customer’s IT systems and Discreet Steam Service’s warehouse management systems to provide inbound clearance, haulage and outbound distribution.
